Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.As Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet may impair your alertness or cause drowsiness or blurred vision, and this may affect your ability to drive.

Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Diazepam
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet works
Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Common Sleepiness, Memory impairment, Uncoordinated body movements, Dizziness, Headache, Dryness in mouth, Fatigue, Depression, Irritability, Slurred speech, Constipation.

If you are taking Diazepam for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks. It may become less effective over the time. It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Diazepam, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness. How Sycodep 2 mg/25 mg Tablet works
Imipramine increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.
Common Sleepiness, Blurred vision, Constipation, Weight gain, Dryness in mouth, Difficulty in urination, Increased heart rate, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing).
Expert advice for Imipramine
The main dose should be taken at night as this drug may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. It can take 4 to 6 weeks for Imipramine to start working. You should continue the treatment for at least 6 months after you feel better to stop depression from coming back. If your doctor asks you to stop Imipramine, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly. Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may decrease alertness. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Imipramine, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. The addiction/dependence potential of Imipramine is very less. It may be extremely dangerous in overdose.
