Ventidox-DL Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Ventidox-DL Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Ventidox-DL Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Uses of Ventidox-DL Tablet
Ventidox-DL Tablet is used in the treatment of nasal allergy symptoms.

How to use Ventidox-DL Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ventidox-DL Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Ventidox-DL Tablet works
Ventidox-DL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Desloratadine and Montelukast which relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Desloratadine is an antiallergic which treats allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose, and improves your symptoms.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Dryness in mouth, Vomiting, Skin rash, Flu-like symptoms, Fatigue, Headache.
