Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet should be gradual.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet can make you sleepy, forgetful, and have poor co-ordination. This may affect your ability to drive.
Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Dose adjustment may be required if it is to be given for a long period

Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

How Ulpane 2.5 mg/5 mg/400 mg Tablet works
Oxyphenonium action is achieved via a dual mechanism: (1) a specific anticholinergic effect (antimuscarinic) at the acetylcholine-receptor sites and (2) a direct effect upon smooth muscle (musculotropic).
