How Unitrac 0.5 mg/25 mg Tablet works
Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Common Sleepiness, Slurred speech, Memory impairment, Uncoordinated body movements, Dizziness, Dryness in mouth, Fatigue, Irritability, Constipation, Headache, Depression.

If you are taking Alprazolam for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks. It may become less effective over the time. It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Headache, Diarrhoea, Fatigue.

Expert advice for Sertraline
It can take 2-3 weeks for Sertraline to start working. Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause a stomach upset, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance.
