Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Limited information indicates that Elipran 40mg Tablet produces low levels in milk and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants.

Driving

Elipran 40mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Elipran 40mg Tablet is used in acute attack of migraine.

How to use Elipran Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Elipran 40mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Elipran Tablet works
Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Elipran 40mg Tablet works by constricting (narrowing) these blood vessels, thereby relieving the migraine headaches.

Side Effects:

Common Sleepiness, Neck pain, Dizziness, Dryness in mouth, Nausea, Sensation of heaviness, Weakness, Jaw pain, Throat pain, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Warm sensation.

Expert advice for Elipran Tablet
To relieve migraine as soon as possible, take Elipran as soon as the headache begins.  Lying down in a quiet and dark room for a while after you use Elipran may help to relieve the migraine.  Take Elipran only as prescribed by the doctor. Using too much Elipran may increase the chances of side effects.  Notify your doctor if your migraine headaches are occurring more often, than before you started using Elipran. Notify your doctor if you have used Elipran for at least three consecutive months. Avoid driving after taking as it may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Elipran, it can cause new and worse headaches.
