Dosulepin / Dothiepin is used in the treatment of depression, neuropathic pain and anxiety disorder.It is used in patients intolerant of or unresponsive to alternative treatment options for depression.

How to use Dosulepin / Dothiepin
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prothiaden M 50mg/1500mcg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Prothiaden M 50mg/1500mcg Tablet works
Dosulepin / Dothiepin increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.

Side Effects:

Common Dryness in mouth, Blurred vision, Sleepiness, Increased heart rate, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Weight gain, Difficulty in urination, Constipation.
