Buscogast 20mg Injection is used in the treatment of pain due to smooth muscle spasmIt is used to relieve cramps in the muscles of stomach, intestine, bladder and ureter. It can also be used to relieve the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

How Buscogast Injection works
Hyoscine belongs to class of medications called antimuscarinic and antispasmodic. It acts by relaxing the smooth muscles and by inhibiting secretions in the lining of the gastro-intestinal tract..

Side Effects:

Common Dryness in mouth, Arrhythmia, Reduced bronchial secretions, Excessive thirst, Increased heart rate, Dry skin, Palpitations, Photophobia, Loss of accommodation, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Slow heart rate, Dilatation of pupil, Difficulty in urination, Constipation.

Do not take hyoscine if you are allergic to hyoscine or any of the other ingredient of the tablet or solution.
