CAUTION
Spironolactone and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Amifru-S Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Amifru-S Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Amifru-S Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Amifru-S Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amifru-S Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Amifru-S Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Uses of Amifru-S Tablet
Amifru-S Tablet is used in the treatment of liver cirrhosis with edema, nephrotic syndrome, heart failure and oedema.
How to use Amifru-S Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amifru-S Tablet is to be taken with food.Avoid Amifru-S Tablet with dietary sodium.
How Amifru-S Tablet works
Amifru-S Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also relaxes blood vessels, but causes potassium loss. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium, thereby balancing its levels in the body.
