SLB Alpha Tablet contains Methylcobalamin, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Pyridoxine, Folic Acid, Selenium, Inositol, Chromium Picolinate.
 
Methylcobalamin is used in treating diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency (such as pernicious anemia), or diseases of effective B12 deficiency, such as vitamin B12 metabolic pathway.
Methylcobalamin is retained in the body better than cyanocobalamin. Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in nerve cells in people with diabetes. Methylcobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction; thus, it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues.
Alpha-lipoic acid or ALA is a naturally occurring compound that's made in the body. It serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. Alpha-lipoic acid helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, and also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C.
Folic acid helps in the development of a healthy red blood cells, improves nervous system and heart health.
Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) plays an important role in the body. It is needed to maintain the healthy nerves, skin, and red blood cells. Pyridoxine has been used to prevent or treat a certain nerve disorder like peripheral neuropathy.
Chromium plays a role in carbohydrate & Fat metabolism & its deficiency causes Glucose intolerance and Neuropathy.
