Bonshine 2000 IU Tablet contains Cholecalciferol - 2000 IU. Cholecalciferol, also known as calciol, is a type of fat-soluble vitamin D. It is used to prevent and treat vitamin D deficiencies. It helps the body to absorb calcium and phosphorus from regular diet and food supplements, and develop and strengthen bones. It further helps in the reabsorption of calcium from bone tissues. Cholecalciferol is particularly useful in the treatment of certain bone disorders such as osteoporosis, rickets and osteomalacia.
