Role of active ingredients:
Kalmegh contains diterpenes, and flavonoids that have hepatoprotective activity and relieve symptoms of jaundice.
Katuki, acts as a potent liver stimulant, in higher doses, and acts as purgative.
Kasmardha has mild liver stimulant effect.
Kulikhara is useful against liver problems.
Benarmool acts cooling agent, tonic and blood purifier, used to treat indigestion and loss of appetite.
