Role of active ingredients:
- Adenosylcobalamin: Required for an enzyme known as MCM (Methylmalonyl Coenzyme A Mutase), which exists in the mitochondria and is required to make succinyl CoA to generate energy in the citric acid
- Ferrous ascorbate: Used to treat or prevent low blood levels of iron for anemia or during pregnancy
