Methylcobalamin is used to prevent and treat low vitamin B12. Lack of vitamin B12 may cause anemia and damage to the nerves. It is used to treat diabetic neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy. It is an essential nutrient that helps the body to make healthy red blood cells and nerve cells. Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in nerve cells in people with diabetes. It exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in neuropathies induced by drugs.
Alpha Lipoic Acid or ALA is a naturally occurring compound that's made in the body. It serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. Alpha Lipoic acid helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, and also restores vitamin levels such as vitamin E and vitamin C.

The combination helps in bringing down the level of homocysteine in blood, the major factor for atherosclerosis. Nurocon tablet reduces the major risk factors for atherosclerosis and neuropathies.
