DESCRIPTION
Ledum palustre is also known commonly as Marsh Tea or Wild Rosemary. Homeopathically this remedy is famous for curing insect bites, cuts, wounds and bruises. Long standing cases of rheumatism and gout are cured by this remedy. 
 
This remedy is curative for the following conditions: 
 
Head 
Good for headache which can be Violent and severe. 
Break out of pimples on scalp 
Vertigo when walking, with tendency to fall to one side 
 
Eye 
Good for black eye after a blow or bruise 
Cataract 
 
Face 
Severe red pimples on cheek and forehead which burn 
Good for insect bites or stings which burn later. 
 
Respiration 
Bronchitis 
Spasmodic cough with Tickling in chest 
Suffocative arrest of breathing 
Bronchitis with emphysema of aged. 
Oppressive constriction of chest 
Chest hurts when touched 
 
Extremities 
Lower Back ache with stiffness 
Pain on the soles of the feet. Can hardly walk due to this 
Rheumatism of lower limbs wherein pain moves upwards. 
Swollen ankles 
Tendency to ankle and foot sprains 
Bruises which tend to remain discoloured 
Wounds at site of injection 
Punctured wounds which feel cold to touch and is better by cold application. 
 
Dose- As prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with other allopathic medicines.

Precautions 
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine. 
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
