Liatris spicata is an old botanical remedy also known as Colic root. Tincture is prepared from fresh powdered roots. It is a great remedy for colic and indigestion.

Generalised edema or swelling due to heart and kidney disease
 
For cases of suppressed urination. An effective diuretic

Also good for colic and pain
 
Locally, applied to ulcers and unhealthy wounds
 
 
Precautions
 
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
