Berberis Vulgaris Mother Tincture

Prepared from a plant, Berberis Vulgaris or Barberry has its action on mostly all the regions of the body, but its action is most appreciated for all sorts of kidney, liver and urinary tract ailments.

Head

Pain in the forehead, vertigo with a tendency to faint.
Pain near the ears.
Helps to treat vesicles on tongue , decreased saliva which is sticky and frothy
Frontal headache
Sensation of a tight cap pressing upon the whole scalp

Stomach

Good for those who feel nauseous before breakfast
Pain in region of gall bladder which is severe and increases when pressure is applied.
Excellent for piles and anal fistulas, loose motions are painless with pain and burning in anal region.
Pain in the kidney region that goes till the abdomen, feels constipated.

Urinary

Has special effect on the urinary system
Pain in the thighs and sides of abdomen when goes to urinate
Urination is frequent with a lot of burning
Person feels some urine has still not passed
There is presence of red particles present in urine

Sexual organs

Periods have less flow with pain in kidneys and thighs.
Pain in vagina with decreased sexual desire.
Greyish vaginal discharge

Back and Extremities

Pain in back which increases on breathing.
Bones of the feet feel like they have been sprained.
Pain in the lumbar regions after any operations.
Rheumatism of all small and big joints like shoulder , arms , hands, legs and feet
Pains in heels and weakness of legs even after walking a small distance

Skin

Itching of skin , warts, eczema in hands and anal area.
The eczema patches are circular which is worse on scratching and better by cold applications.

Dose-15 drops of sepia officinalis mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice each day for 3 months, unless otherwise prescribed by physician.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
