First you book an appointment online, post which, the lab technician will reach your home / office at a preferred time for free sample collection. In addition, you will also be able to receive their reports in a digital format online, besides getting the hard copy as well.
A doctor's or physician's order is required for testing, and we provide this for you. Our doctors will issue the lab requisition form after you place your order. You will simply print out the form and take it to the lab at your earliest convenience. (If you do not have access to a printer, you can also fax it directly to the lab from within your online account by clicking the "Fax" button.) In fact, Dawaiwala.com offers many of the exact tests that your doctor would. The labs are the same, the tests are administered the same way and the accuracy of the results is the same. You can even share the results with your doctor.
All tests are determined via urine or blood samples, depending on the type of test ordered. All lab tests take approximately 10 minutes or less.
Your lab results will be available and sent to you within 1 to 3 business days.
One or more of the tests asked may be cancelled by the laboratory due to clinical / technical reasons. You will receive information about the same on email and SMS. In such case, our service provider shall be advised to collect the fresh specimen and process the unreported test(s) free of cost. You are requested to coordinate for re-collection of sample. If the booking included home service, then recollection of sample will be done at the centre only and the beneficiary is advised to visit during working hours (in fasting condition if necessary).
No. Since we do not accept insurance, we are able to guarantee that the Dawaiwala.com tests you order and your test results are not placed on your medical record. (Of course, you can share the tests and results with your doctor if you prefer.)
You may cancel your order any time before your visit to the test center. Refunds will be issued minus a 20 percent (20%) cancellation fee. All cancellation requests after 21 days of purchase will be given credit for future testing. Please contact Patient Services at 1-800-579-3914 to cancel your order.

The technicians deputed by the service provider for specimen collection are adequately qualified and also would have experience in this field.
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email to login to your secure online account. Your online account will have your lab order form that you will need to print and/or fax to the lab (you can fax it directly to the lab within your account by pressing 'FAX'). The lab does not require an appointment. At your lab visit, a blood and/or urine specimen will be collected.

No. We are only able to provide testing services for individuals who are 18 years or older.
Some of the tests require that the beneficiary is on fast for 10-12 hours before the sample collection is done. During fasting, no food or beverages are to be consumed by the beneficiary. Only water is permitted. If fasting is not followed, then the results for some of the tests would be affected.
This is what you should talk over with your doctor. After your blood or urine sample has been analyzed, you'll eventually receive the results. Unless you really know your medicine, there's a good chance that the raw numbers won't mean that much to you. For this reason, the results will probably be labeled with descriptive words like high, normal, or low. Normal means that you have the numbers expected for a generally healthy person your age. High or low readings mean that something is out of line. High numbers aren't always bad; if you're talking about good cholesterol, for instance, the higher the better. For this reason, you'll have to talk to your doctor to know if your results are normal or whether there is any cause for concern.
