• You have been prescribed Moxonidine to control high blood pressure. Decreasing high blood pressure lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke.
• Your doctor may adjust the dose and frequency (morning or evening) based on your response to Moxonidine in the beginning of the treatment.
• Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
• May cause dizziness and lightheadedness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery.
