Bromhexine+Chlorpheniramine+Dextromethorphan+Menthol is used in the treatment of dry cough.

This is a combination of four medicines: Bromhexine, chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan and menthol which relieve cough and cold symptoms. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.
