n-acetylcarnosine is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies.

N-Acetylcarnosine belongs to a class of medications called anti-oxidants and is similar to naturally occurring substance called L-carnosine in the eye. It prevents and reverses the hardening and clouding or discoloration of the eye lens thereby preventing and treating age-related cataracts.

Tingling sensation

• You may experience mild stinging upon instillation of the eye drops. Seek immediate medical attention if the stinging sensation becomes too uncomfortable.
• If you wear contact lenses, remove them and wash your eyes with water before instilling the eye drops. Insert you contact lenses back after 15 mins.
• Tell your doctor if you taking any prescription or non-prescription eye-drop medications
• Inform your doctor about any prior or planned eye surgery.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding
• Do not take if allergic to N-acetylcarnosine or any of its ingredients.
