Trithioparamethoxy Phenylpropene is used in the treatment of cholestatic liver diseases, alcoholic fatty liver disease and non-alcoholic fatty liver.

Trithioparamethoxy phenylpropene belongs to the class of medications called as hepatoprotective agents. It provides protection to liver from hepatotoxic agents such as fatty acids, alcohol etc. and reduces the cholesterol in the blood thereby causing the smooth flow of blood.

• Trithioparamethoxy Phenylpropene should be taken preferably after meals.
• Do not take antacids that contain aluminum while you are taking the Trithioparamethoxy Phenylpropene. This is because antacids decrease the amount of Trithioparamethoxy Phenylpropene absorbed by the body.
• Notify your doctor if you are breast-feeding.
