Arterolane is used in the treatment of malaria.

Arterolane is a weak base that reaches high concentration within the malarial parasite and causes accumulation of toxic heme pigment, which kills it.

Nausea, Loss of appetite, Abdominal pain, Anemia, Cough, Diarrhoea, Dizziness, Fever, Headache, Indigestion, Vomiting

• Inform your doctor if you have any liver, heart or kidney disease.  • Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. • Should not be given to patients who are allergic to arterolane, piperaquine or any of its ingredients.
