Naphazoline+Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is used in the treatment of conjunctivitis.

This is a combination of two medicines: Naphazoline and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Naphazoline is a sympathomimetic-alpha 1 medicine which narrows the blood vessels in the eye, thereby reducing redness and swelling. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
