Metformin+Glimepiride+Atorvastatin+Ramipril is used in the treatment of diabetes with increased cholesterol and hypertension.

This is a combination of four medicines: Metformin, glimepiride, atorvastatin and ramipril. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
